Thirty OABCIG High School vocal students will participate in the Morningside Men and Women In Song Festival this year. The students were chosen from a group of about 50 students. They were selected based on voice control, vocal tone quality, note/rhythm accuracy, intonation, enunciation, posture, lesson attendance and positive contributions to class.
The students will each learn four new songs here and then will spend an entire day in rehearsals at Morningside College. They will be under the direction of Dr. Tim Watson and Dr. Jill Wilson, Morningside Choral Directors.
These students, along with other students from area schools in South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa, will present a concert at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 at Morningside Eppley Auditorium.
