Parent Teacher/Staff Partnership (PTP)

What is PTP?

A Parent Teacher Partnership is an active support network for teachers and parents. Our PTP's goal is to work together with parents and teachers to achieve more success in the school. PTP's sponsor events throughout the school year to help foster communication between parents and teachers, and to assist in fundraising efforts for the needs of the school.

The Mission of the PTP:

The mission of BCIG's PTP is to work together to positively influence the school experiences of our children.

Goals of the BCIG PTP:

1) Communication between the teachers and parents on the needs of the school and students.

2) Organize events, activities, and fundraiser that support the BCIG Elementary School's purpose.

3) Coordinate classroom volunteerism.

4) Foster teachers appreciation.

How will PTP be organized?

Anyone can volunteer to be a committee chair or assist with committee work.

When will the PTP meet?

On an as needed basis. Right away in August when school begins, to plan the year. And then we can communicate via e-mail, notes home from school, and by phone.
