SPECIAL BOARD MEETING WITH

BCIG COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

MONDAY, AUGUST 29, 2011

CENTRAL OFFICE-IDA GROVE

The Odebolt-Arthur (OA) Community School Board of Education met in joint session with the Battle Creek Ida Grove (BCIG) Community School Board of Education on the above date and time. The following members were present: Deb Bengford, Paul Neumann, Traci Bengford, Dani Trimble, Tony Spradlin and Jann Murphy. Brad Lundell arrived at 6:23 p.m.

President Neumann called the meeting to order at 6:20 p.m.

A motion was made by D. Bengford, seconded by T. Bengford to approve the agenda. All Ayes. Motion Carried. (4-0)

A motion was made by T. Bengford, seconded by Lundell to approve the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team Auditions in Ames on Sunday, September 11^th. All Ayes. Motion Carried. (4-0)

A motion was made by D. Bengford, seconded by T. Bengford to adjourn the meeting at 6:28 p.m. All Ayes. Motion Carried. (4-0)

At 6:30 p.m. President Neumann opened the joint work session with Dr. Tim Grieves and Dr. Troyce Fisher to study education trends and begin establishing a common vision.

President Neumann closed the work session at 9:05 p.m.
