*Iowa College Goal Sunday
-Volunteers will help students and families file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)* form throughout Iowa during Iowa College Goal Sunday events, which occur on Saturdays throughout February.
-The FAFSA, available for free in paper or online form, is provided by the U.S. Department of Education and is the first step in qualifying for federal financial aid for college.
No appointment is necessary at most sites, and all services are free. Students or parents may attend individually, but organizers recommend that students and at least one parent or guardian come together. Certain documents are required to fill out the forms.
