Physics was making waves at the Ida Grove Rec Center last week! ๐๐ฃ
OABCIG physics students put their engineering and problem-solving skills to the test by designing and building cardboard boats using only minimal supplies. Using physics principles like buoyancy, balance, force, and motion, they had to create a solution that could actually float โ and hopefully survive the trip across the pool! ๐
Always a fun project that combines creativity and hands-on learning!

Rural Non-Congregate Summer Meals will be available again for the summer of 2026.ย We will serve grab and go style meals from both the Ida Grove Elementary and the Odebolt Elementary/Middle School buildings.ย Meals will be served from the front entrance/canopy area of the buildings.ย Meal pick-up times are 11:30-12:30 at both locations.
Meal service is only being offered from June 1 - June 30.
Meals are FREE and for students/children only (18 & Under), no adult meals are being offered.
Meal would include the lunch (for that day) and the next day's breakfast.
Meal service is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 1, 2026.
