On Monday, our Middle School TAG students had the opportunity to visit the farm of Duane and Ellen Ernst! The Ernst family welcomed everyone for a special tour of their incredible "Pigseum," featuring a huge collection of all things pig-related. 🐷

Duane, Ellen, their son Gregor, and granddaughter Brynn were wonderful hosts - sharing fascinating stories and teaching students about German culture, where they lived for many years. One highlight of the visit included seeing a real piece of the Berlin Wall!

OABCIG will observe 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤, October 27-31, with the theme "𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞, 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞!" During this week, OABCIG students will learn the benefits of living a drug-free lifestyle through various activities, events, and dress-up days. 𝐎𝐀𝐁𝐂𝐈𝐆 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 (𝐈𝐝𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐭) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 dress-up days are as follows:

OABCIG Community School District will have two 2:30 pm dismissals this week on 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 20 and 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 23 for Parent Teacher Conferences and No School on 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 24.
