Odebolt Elementary Falcon of the Week 𓅃


Third grade in Odebolt trying the "Engineering Design Process" by designing boats from a small square of tin foil. After testing to see how many pennies each boat would hold before sinking, teams were able to redesign one final boat.








For 5th Grade parents interested in renting an instrument from Mid-Bell


Fourth Grade at Ida County Farm Safety Day
They learned about anhydrous, went to different stations learning about 911, EMT, animal safety, electrical safety, the importance of corn, combine safety, and participated in a few ag Olympics activities.

The OABCIG Nutrition Department would like to welcome all students back to school with a FREE breakfast on Friday, August 30th!
Breakfast is available for purchase each morning of school from 7:45 until school starts. Regular access to a healthy school breakfast is one of the best ways to support student's ability to learn and their overall well-being.


OABCIG first day of school dates!
TK-12 starts this Friday, August 23. PreK starts on Tuesday, August 27. (NOT Monday, August 26 as stated in the newsletter)

Thursday's Cook-out day in Odebolt! Pork burgers were provided and grilled by Brad Lundell, Lundell Farms. Mike Hoefling and Mary Neville of Nutrien Ag Solutions-donated all the sides and buns for the meal. Special thanks to the Bowling Alley in Odebolt for ordering all the sides!


OABCIG Elementary students were recognized for achieving the 100, 200, 300, and 400 point levels in Accelerated Reader this school year.
Also, congratulations to all students who read books and earned points!
