On Wednesday, the Middle School TAG students were invited to hear Kris Gunderson explain the work of the mobile food pantry called Community Basket. This agency (which serves Odebolt, Arthur, Battle Creek, Ida Grove, Kiron, and Holstein) was recently selected as "Agency of the Year -- Rural" out of the eleven counties' agencies served by the Food Bank of Siouxland. Kris encouraged the students to think about ideas for serving or donating in the future, right here in our own community, so that they could "enter school to learn, depart from school to serve."

OABCIG School Resource Officer, Fred Anderson, came to the high school Forensic Science class today to give students a chance to practice fingerprinting and dusting for prints. Thank you to Fred and the Ida County Sheriff's Department for sharing your knowledge and skills with us!
