The MS & HS Leadership Academy students met with Marcia Cates & Taylor Hemer at UBI to learn the history, mission, and behind-the -scenes preparation of the Whitey Thompson Hike-Bike-A-Thon. Students gained insight into the leadership, organization, and community impact behind this long-standing event - and they're excited to put their skills into practice when they assist with the preparation process this spring!!🚴🏻‍♂️👟
