Today’s Baseball game vs Hartley Melvin- Sanborn has been postponed, due to field conditions.
Physics was making waves at the Ida Grove Rec Center last week! 🌊🚣
OABCIG physics students put their engineering and problem-solving skills to the test by designing and building cardboard boats using only minimal supplies. Using physics principles like buoyancy, balance, force, and motion, they had to create a solution that could actually float — and hopefully survive the trip across the pool! 😄

Students in 4th/5th TAG recently completed a unit involving Lego Robotics Kits. They were able to tour Gomaco Plant 2 to learn how robotics are used in manufacturing in our own community. These students got up close to the many parts used in making paving equipment. Our community is a perfect place to learn about real-life applications for the concepts being learned in TAG. Thanks to Butch Ehrig for answering so many questions!

Rural Non-Congregate Summer Meals will be available again for the summer of 2026. We will serve grab and go style meals from both the Ida Grove Elementary and the Odebolt Elementary/Middle School buildings. Meals will be served from the front entrance/canopy area of the buildings. Meal pick-up times are 11:30-12:30 at both locations.
Meal service is only being offered from June 1 - June 30.
Meals are FREE and for students/children only (18 & Under), no adult meals are being offered.
Meal would include the lunch (for that day) and the next day's breakfast.
Meal service is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 1, 2026.

OABCIG Elementary-Ida Grove (Main Entrance) - 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
OABCIG Elementary/MS-Odebolt (Main Entrance) - 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
