This year, 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 (a day to raise awareness and show support for individuals affected by Osteogenesis Imperfecta) falls on the same day as our 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲!

We’d love to recognize both:
👉 Students are encouraged to 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 to support those affected by Osteogenesis Imperfecta
👉 AND wear their 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭 for the day’s activities

Huge congratulations to our High School Girls Track Team for taking 1st place tonight at the John Lageschulte Relays! 💪🔥

OABCIG Meteorology and HS TAG students took learning beyond the classroom with a visit to KTIV! 🌤️📺 Students interested in careers in meteorology, media, and broadcasting toured the station and even had the opportunity to observe a live noon newscast-seeing firsthand how weather and news come to life on air.

✨They Are Published Authors!✨

Mrs. First's second-grade class is so excited to share that they officially published their very own book this spring called If I Had Three Wishes! 📚💫

Each student worked hard creating their own writing and illustration pages, making this book extra special and full of creativity. Everyone is so proud of all the imagination, effort, and teamwork that went into this project! Becoming published authors has been such a fun and memorable experience for the classroom.

Way to go, students! ✏️🎉

Leadership Academy volunteers got done early and got to check out Sip N' Nutrition, owned by 2021 OABCIG grad, Mia Mortensen.🥤

HS & MS Leadership Academy in action!💪🏻🚲 These student volunteers were busy getting ready for next week's Hike-Bike-a-Thon by prepping lanyards with coupons for a free ice cream cone or bowl and a hamburger for each participant. Lots of helping hands making it all come together!🍦🍔 If you haven't had a chance to donate yet, you have options - drop off your donation at any UBI location or donate online at hikebike.org. All proceeds fund scholarships for OABCIG students!

Monday’s Middle School Coed Track Meet at East Sac County has been postponed until Tuesday, April 28th • 4:15 Start

🏃‍➡️ OABCIG MS Track & Field is headed to Early today for another great meet! 🏃‍♀️

HS TAG and SkillsUSA toured Gomaco Trolley to explore hands-on careers in craftsmanship, engineering, construction, and equipment restoration.🚋🔧 Students learned about the skills behind restoring and renovating trolleys and equipment, gaining a deeper look into these in-demand career pathways!
