OABCIG High Schooler and Ida Grove Elementary First Graders
Mrs. Nielsen’s students came down to the Ida Grove Elementary
building to help first graders make bread. The students got to measure
ingredients, follow directions, and learned how to knead bread. All the
students agreed the best part was eating the bread when it was done!
The first graders have been reading different versions of the book
“The Little Red Hen”. We have talked about setting, characters,
problems and solutions in each of the stories. The moral of the story is
hard work pays off, but if we all help each other, we will all benefit
more. This goes great with the Thanksgiving season!

5th Grade in Ida Grove put on their annual Wax Museum of American Heroes. They researched, wrote about, made a speech, and came up with a costume and props all about a person who has made an impact on American history. Great job!! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
