Third graders at Ida Grove Elementary published a book about the winter olympics. Each student chose their favorite winter sport, wrote about the sport, and then drew an illustration that represented it. Great job to these young authors and artists! ❄️✍️🎨

Ida Grove Elementary Falcons of the Week 💜

The Ida Grove third graders learned about artist Jackson Pollock in their Wit and Wisdom reading. They were able to create their own abstract painting using techniques that Jackson used with his paintings.

Reminder: OABCIG students have a 1:00 PM dismissal on Wednesday, April 22, for teachers to participate in professional development.
