Congrats to senior Levi Streed for committing to joining the C & B team in Ida Grove.🙌🏻 He shadowed their staff in the summer of 2022 and will be attending Northeast Iowa Community College. C & B will be his John Deere dealership sponsor throughout the technician program.

On Monday, April 10, 2023, four seniors from OABCIG, Kaylee Oxendale, Haley Harms, Trenton Eilerts, and Keith Hausman will DJ the KDSN radio from 6 pm-10 pm in recognition of this year's graduating class.

KTIV's Ron Demers presented to our 3rd grade classes on weather. He talked about severe weather and how we can prepare and know when to take action to be safe. 🌪️⛈️💨

ISU Outreach presented "WaterRocks" to the 3rd graders. They discussed what pollutes our rivers and lakes and how to reduce the pollution. Students learned about the water table and Iowa's ecosystem. For more information log onto: www.waterrocks.org

Congratulations to Josh Masters!! Josh presented his meteorology research project at the Western Iowa Science and Engineering Fair at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Josh worked with Mr. Wood for independent study credit as he analyzed pros and cons of predicting the size of hailstones in the Midwest using CAPE, which is related to the energy in a thunderstorm. Josh earned the following awards at the fair: NASA Earth System Science Project Award NOAA's 2023 Taking the Pulse of the Planet Award United States Army Certificate of Achievement
